I had my piano moved on Oct 28th, 2017. After a failed attempt to get some friends to help me move it myself! Lol. The drive from one location to the new location was longer than it took them to load and unload it to its new home!

These guys know what they are doing and when I went to help there was no weight to lift. I was able to just stand back and watch! They were concerned about the wood floor at the new place and were able to rest the piano on pads to prevent any damage. They also noticed I had no bench seat with the piano and just went back to their trailer and gave me one.

We were really fortunate to find Calgary Piano Movers and have them move a piano for us from about two hours outside of Calgary into the city on a Saturday (a day when other companies won't work outside of Calgary). These are some of the calmest, most professional people I've ever met. The piano's original home was in a rural area and quite hard to find. Never once did they lose their cool or get flustered about time being wasted. When they delivered the piano, you could tell they really cared about the instrument and understood its value - both monetary and emotional. I cannot recommend strongly enough Fernando and his team. A snowy spring day in Calgary, but they made it work. We moved a piano from my father's house to his church where it could be enjoyed by many different groups in the church hall. Tricky work getting it in at the church building, which is quite old, and moving out another older piano, but the moving crew handled it with cheerful patience. All was done safely and efficiently, and we are delighted with the result.

Fernando saved the day! We hired a kijiji "piano mover" who goes by "flat rate piano and gun safe movers" to move our newly purchased piano to our home for our daughter to enjoy. Well to save a story, they left it on the sellers front lawn and left in a huff. We called Fernando right away and they were there within the hour, packed it up, and was at our house promptly. Calgary Piano Movers and Fernando are extremely professional, very friendly and tedious in making sure nothing is damaged and the customer is happy. Again, I say thank you Fernando! Fernando and his crew came to my house to move a 980 lb safe from the main floor to the basement in close quarters. I had the safe brought to my house by another company who then claimed that it was IMPOSSIBLE to get the safe down my stairs after causing a bunch of damage. I called Fernando to help. He and his crew were at my house within 24 hours of initial contact with the proper equipment to get the job done. He was in and out in 45 minutes, and caused no damage to my house. His crew was friendly, and professional the entire time. Very pleased with his service!

The first time I asked Calgary Piano Movers to relocate my piano, I was very impressed with the utmost efficiency of the move and at a very reasonable price. Their professionalism, courtesy and skill led me to rehire them without hesitation for my next move.

The second move compelled me to write this testimonial. A much more challenging situation was moving a large piano through a very small bi-level entrance. I first asked if they could deliver the piano downstairs, however after several attempts, it was obviously impossible. The staircase was too tight for the large instrument. Rather than give up and say it can’t be done, the men tried the alternative approach, moving it upstairs and after several attempts, they were successful.

I watched during this whole process and was utterly amazed at the skill and the various techniques used to maneuver such a large instrument through a very tight space. Safety was always the priority. They never gave up, even when I suggested that they stop and I would get rid of the piano. They took up the challenge and during it all never faltered with their courteous and respectful manner. Although the job was far more difficult than what they estimated for the quoted price, it was not increased. Nor was I charged any additional fees. Their honesty and integrity kept them to their word.

I HIGHLY recommend Calgary Piano Movers to anyone who requires their service. Out of a 5 Star rating, I give them a resounding 10!!

The best Piano Movers ever!!! I'm so impressed with the move of my Steinway 9 ft Grand Piano. I purchased a piano and hired Calgary Piano Movers to move the piano down a steep and narrow staircase and brand new hard wood floors. They arrived on time which set the atmosphere. I purchased a very heavy safe recently and these guys managed to tame it even though the BEAST was huge. Very friendly, respectful and honest. I enjoyed the experience actually. My safe weighs over 400 kgs and they managed to get it into our basement when other companies said impossible.

I requested a move that initially did not turn out as planned. The movers were unable to get the piano up the stairs and had to return to do so. It did not appear this would be possible. However, not only were they able to get the piano in a tight and very precarious position to move it - there was no damage to the walls or piano. Excellent service.
My only suggestion is make sure you clarify difficult dimensions.

Theses guys did a great job. Very efficient and took care of the move from Red Deer to Calgary from basement to basement in a very professional way. Reasonable price too. Would totally recommend them.

I have moved my piano a few times over the last few years, but these guys have hands down have been the most gentle on my baby. Usually I have to turn away and avoid eye contact as my piano is wrestled in and out of houses and apartments, but I was able to actually watch the process and feel good about it with these guys. Alex was the team lead on this one, and it is so obvious how much the gentleman cares about providing very friendly and CAREFUL service. Absolutely no nicks, no scratches, no banging the instrument around. I am so pleased by their work, and I'll be using these guys any other time I may have to move my piano baby.

Calgary Piano Movers are wonderful and we can't thank them enoughl!! They moved my mother’s heavy antique piano down to the basement, maneuvering around a difficult turn. We were originally told by our movers that it couldn’t be done and my mother was extremely upset. She has had the piano since she was 16 years old and we were afraid it would have to be put into storage but Calgary piano movers came through for us. We are certain no one else could have gotten that piano down. They were outstanding…we highly recommend them to anyone that has a piano to move. We would (and will) definitely use them again.

5 stars! Calgary Piano Movers  crew showed up to deliver two gun safes to our house. They needed to navigate up and down stairs. They made it look easy! They did a fantastic job and had great attention to detail. I think they went overboard by making sure everything was perfectly centered and square to the walls. I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Calgary Piano Movers. We hired them to move a piano from Trochu to Olds. After they arrived in Trochu, they attempted to move the piano from the basement of a very old church. It was impossible to move the piano from the basement due to renovations to the church. We were all very disappointed, as my 5 year old daughter was very excited to get a piano and start learning. Fernando promised me he would find my girl a piano before Christmas. As he promised, he found and delivered us a very nice piano!!!! My daughter was so excited when she came home from school to find a piano. She has played it everyday!! Upon first arrival I was a little worried they didn't bring enough muscle. Especially since my piano was larger then two out of the three movers that greeted me at the front door. For my wife's birthday I decided to surprise her with a baby grand piano. ON THE SECOND STORY OF OUR HOUSE! Needless to say this was quite a challenge. After 9 months of searching for just the right one, I needed to find a team willing and able to do what it takes to make this a surprise. On short notice, I called Calgary Piano Movers and they exceeded all of my expectations. They met with the seller of the piano and loaded it up while I snuck me and my 9 month old son out of the house (while my wife was out to dinner and a movie). I showed up, paid the seller and led the Calgary Piano Movers team to my house. There, they quickly moved the piano up 16 stairs to my bonus room without any damage or issues. Reymond even brushed the carpet in the right direction on my stairs afterwards. There was time to spare, so they polished it up and positioned the piano in just the right spot in the room. The team at Calgary Piano Movers just moved our 750 lb antique upright piano a couple of days and we were so pleased with their work!!! They were all very professional and did an excellent job!!! Calgary piano movers moved our piano into storage in Calgary, then moved it to our new home in the Okanagan. Our precious baby grand came through without a scratch. Everything was handled so well - very professional and friendly service. We'd highly recommend them.

Wonderful job! They took an old family heirloom, and something very sentimental to me that had been in storage for a few years, and returned it safely to my home. It's an old piece, and the leg had come loose on one side. They glued it back into place for me, and made sure it was all stable and good to go. Excellent costumer service, would definitely recommend, and will use again in the future if we ever move again.

Great service and really friendly movers! They did a great job and were really thorough in helping us try to find a way to move the piano into our basement, through a really tight space. Would definitely recommend them for anyone needing a piano moved in or around Calgary.
